CDC-BASED SAFETY PROTOCOL
- Appointments will be limited to decrease number of clients at the center.
- Treatment rooms/equipment/toys will be sanitized with medical grade disinfectant prior to and following each therapy session.
- Preventive actions based on CDC recommendations will be implemented at all times.
All tkidst employees will be
- Tested for COVID-19 prior to re-opening on June 1st.
- Wearing masks at all times.
- Frequently washing and/or disinfecting hands.
- Pre-screened prior to arrival to the center.
- Screened for temperature daily.
- Staying home if they are feeling sick.
CLIENT PHONE SCREENING
( prior to arrival at the center)
- Parents will receive a call the day prior to their session.
- Parent must answer screening questions in order to determine child’s eligibility to be seen at center for therapy.
- Families who do not meet screening requirements will be asked to reschedule session for a later date.
DROP-OFF AND PICK UP PROTOCOL
- Only one caregiver per child will be allowed.
- Caregiver and child must wait outside waiting room until called in.
- Caregiver will wait in car rather than in waiting room during session.
- Children will wash hands before leaving the center.
- Session feedback will be provided via note/text/email/phone to ensure a quick drop off.
CLIENT ENTRY SCREENING
UPON ARRIVAL AT THE CENTER
- Adults and children (over 2 years old) must wear masks.
- There are modifications and exceptions to our protocol requirements that will be based on each child's individual needs.
- Adults and children must sanitize hands.
- Child's temperature will be taken prior to entry into session.
- Only socks or “indoor” shoes will be allowed to be worn in treatment rooms.
- Children who are sick and/or do not meet screening requirements will be asked to reschedule their session for a later date.
